THE WINGS OF HOPE

The Wings of Hope are majestic and free.

They are the immeasurable beauty that comes.

The Wings of Hope bring a renewed joy with an abundant grace.

They carry a profound sense of unconditional love embraced with a blissful peace.

Earth receives The Wings with eagerness and anticipation.

Everything is as it should be – a powerful sense of harmony.

All things are equally important and only love is real.

The Wings of Hope have arrived.

Dear Parents and Children,

The time has passed so quickly since we were on the road with “Many Faces, One Nation”, and I wish to thank all of you who were part of that Presentation.

Exciting times are about to begin with “Wings of Hope” designed by the prolific and multi-talented Brian MacFarlane. Our Children’s Presentation this year forms part of a larger story that Brian will be telling. His band centers on “Earth” – with the effects of global warming, pollution and the tremendous damage taking place, often driven by man’s ruthless quest for money. But as the darkest, cruelest night must always give way to a fresh, dew-kissed dawn, the promise of a new beginning emerges. “Wings of Hope” depicts Earth in its innocent form; a happy, loving and forgiving rebirth for humanity, even after man’s many torments to her. The total story will only be unveiled in its complete resplendence when planned components of “Wings of Hope” (6-7 sections) will perform with MacFarlane’s “Earth” on Carnival Tuesday 2008. On Carnival Monday, we will be parading on our own, as usual.

Come and be a part of a serious and important message that we are trying to bring to our beloved T & T first, and the World. That message is that “we have to save our environment”. We can make a difference!

Our Band Launching took place on Saturday 29th September 2007 at our Mas Camp at 26 O’Connor Street, Woodbrook, and was a great success. Many costumes were booked on that day. Registration Fee is $350.00 – please sign up early to avoid disappointment in the end. See you all soon…
